Editors’ comments:
The Amphibians are a small association of scuba diving enthusiasts with a big heart. Members of the club dive regularly from shore and also organise very conveniently timed Saturday morning boat trips in summer, mainly using the Ta’ Miema Boat services “Julie Pearl” hard boat and the Calypso cruises traditional Maltese Luzzu. Their boat trips tend not to be crowded but mostly of a recreational diving type. Very friendly members, some of whom contributed to place some interesting “props” at the Cirkewwa Divesite such as anchors and amphorae to create mini artificial reefs, as well as the underwater Madonna niche and Crib at 18m.
