We link below the Environment & Resources Authority’s page about the Marine Protected Areas around the Maltese Island as a main repository of information about MPAs around the Maltese Islands.

Another important information document is the “Conservation objectives and measures for Malta’s marine Natura 2000 sites – January 2023” document, which provides a description of these sites and indicates objectives & measures aimed to study, conserve and promote these areas’ wellbeing.
