In a post on Facebook, Professor Alan Deidun announced that new LED digital displays have been provided to the Dwejra Environmental Education Centre, managed by the San Lawrenz Local Council, as part of the CORALLO +SI project (Interreg Italia-Malta 2014-2020 Programme)
We are upgrading the Dwejra environmental education centre! This is a spanking new display just installed on site by the University of Malta through colleague Dr. Adam Gauci and consisting of 2 LED banners affixed side by side….this was made possible through the CORALLO +SI project (Interreg Italia-Malta 2014-2020 Programme)….we, along with the ERA and with Heritage Malta, are upgrading the facilities found within this Centre opened way back in 2013 through the CORALLO +SI project…..this Centre is managed by the San Lawrenz local lcouncil and has welcomed thousands of visitors over the past 10 years, being the first of its kind in the Maltese Islands….Ocean literacy in practice!
