Transport Malta this week announced through Notice to Mariners 075 of 2023 the areas that will be considered as swimming zones during this summer from 20 May (or 30 May in some cases) until 30 September . Some of these sites intersect also with well-known shallow diving sites (e.g. Mgarr ix-Xini, Xlendi, Qawra point, Sirens, etc.). Boats are not allowed to navigate in these areas. Buoys will be placed on site and same cannot be used as moorings.
