Today the Civil Protection Department announced their latest acquisition with an awesome video!
MANUĊĊA, P-42 Fire Fighter is an innovative high speed rapid intervention vessel which provides superb stability, flexible work space and panoramic view from helm position. This vessel is able to reach speeds of 44 knots has a total length of 12.6 metres and a draft of 80cm. The Hydrolift P-42 Fire Fighter model is an agile vessel based on modular design and includes a Fire Pump that can provide 5000 Litres of water per minute, through its main fire monitor or act as a sea-borne Fire Pump. The vessel is equipped with hydro jets and therefore is not prone to entanglement when operating in marinas, or shallow water area. It can also assist diving operations and the recovery of casualties from the sea.
