At this time of the year (spring to summer), it’s the peak octopus mating season. Due to this, and to ensure viable stocks for both fishing and sustaining the marine environment, it is ideal if octopus are undisturbed as much as possible. Especially the ones that might be in their holes tending to their eggs!
