Mr Kevin Sciberras, a student reading for the BSC in Diving Safety Management at the Institute for Tourism Studies is collecting responses for a survey on the management of marine archaeological sites around the Maltese Islands.
I would like to invite you to participate in this research:
This research explores how the management of marine archaeological sites in Malta affects local divers and the diving tourism industry. By investigating diver perceptions, tourism practices, and preservation policies, the study aims to understand how heritage conservation can be balanced with recreational access. Your responses will help identify ways to improve site management, promote sustainable tourism, and protect Malta’s underwater cultural heritage for future generations.
In accordance with the recommendations outlined by both Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS), Academic Research and Publications Board, (ARPB) I would like to remind you that anonymity and confidentiality will be strictly observed and that there is the possibility to withdraw from the research process at any time.
Should you require further information please do not hesitate to contact on the email indicated above Kevin.sciberras001@its.edu.mt or on mobile no: +356 99903903. You may also wish to contact my supervisor, Mr Simon Caruana on simon.caruana@its.edu.mt .
Thank you.
