Newsbook reports today that the Environment and Resources Authority together with the police caught a diver with over 1,000 protected sea urchins in his possession off Zonqor Point, Marsascala.
Sea Urchins have last summer been subject of a two-year harvesting moratoria, after a study carried out in 2019 revealed a miniscule amount of sea urchins being spotted in Maltese waters.
