The only spearfishing club present in Malta founded in 1970. The main aim of the MSDC is to promote responsable spearfishing in a safe manner while caring for the marine environment.

The MSDC mainly focuses on spearfishing freediving. Its committee encourages responsible spearfishing, in line with fishery regulations and in a safe manner. Its members have also represented Malta Internationally over the years in spearfishing competitions.
