In a post on its Facebook Group, the Malta Freediving Club issued its upcoming 2023 season planner, with 16 different training events and dives planned ahead!
The calendar was also accompanied with an announcement by the Malta Freediving Club, which we are reproducing below.
We are excited for the upcoming freediving season and are pleased to announce that the new schedule of events for the year is now available. We can’t wait to share it with you!
As a non-profit organization, we strive to provide our members with the best possible opportunities and experiences. To further this goal, we will be introducing a membership fee starting this year. In addition, we plan to increase safety measures during our events. With the funds collected from the membership fee, we will provide additional training for our members on safety protocols, ensure the availability of safety equipment during events, and invite trained professionals to oversee and support our members during certain activities.
The full membership fee is set at €30 per year. For full-time students, we offer a discounted rate of €15 per year, subject to certain terms for minors. The fees collected will be used to reinvest in the club’s growth and development, including the organization of more events and the provision of better facilities for our members.
As a member of the club, you will gain access to all events organized by the club, including those exclusive to members. Additionally, you will have free access to open line events, and priority access to certain events that have a limited number of participants.
We value your support and are looking forward to another exciting year of freediving adventures with you. More details on the upcoming events will follow soon, so stay tuned.

We’ve added all the events to our events calendar so you are reminded of them.
