The Malta Police Force announed that an Italian diver, of age 51 was taken in emergency today to the Gozo Hospital after an accident whilst diving in Comino.
A 51-year-old Italian diver is in a serious condition after finding himself in difficulty while diving in Comino.
It was around 1300 hrs when the diver was brought to Mġarr harbour in Gozo, and assistance was requested as he was unconscious.
An ambulance took him to the Gozo General Hospital.
Magistrate Dr Monica Vella LL.D was informed about the case and appointed a Magisterial Inquiry.
Police investigations are ongoing.
