Recently, this PDF file with pictures and hyperlinks to additional information of many forms of life found around the Maltese coastline was shared on the local Diving Instructors’ social media group.
This guide, which has been put together by Australian Diving Instructor Bruno Pedreira who works for Bezz Diving is a good start for finding out what the heck was the snail, algae, seagrass or fish you saw on your last dive. And if you haven’t found it, after browsing through 269 pictures – YES – Two hundred and sixty-nine (at time of posting), maybe it’s time you get back to them so it can be identified and included 🙂
This fish and marine life guide is also a good way to get an idea of how varied and interesting our underwater landscape is, and if you haven’t taken a dip yet with proper SCUBA or Freediving training, why not try? For the more experienced, maybe you could organise a friendly mini-spotting competition, such as who snaps a picture of 10 specific pre-agreed species? Who wins buys the beer 🙂
Be warned: the PDF file below is large! So after you load this page or click on the link, wait a bit!
Thanks to Bruno & Bezz Diving for sharing this great tool!
