Wiki Loves Earth Photographic Competition

Wiki Loves Earth is an international photographic competition to promote natural heritage sites and creatures around the world, it is the second largest photography competition in the world.

Uploads must be made between 1 May and 31 July 2025. You may see the winners of last year, which included may underwater pictures from around Malta here:

Prizes:
The top 10 winning photos taken at one of the 300 protected natural sites in Malta will be published in the Times of Malta. There may also be up to 5 additional honourable mentions, in either the Landscapes or Flora/Fauna (macro/close-up) categories. Local winners will be announced in September. The local winners will receive a goody bag from Wikimedia Community Malta during the 2025 Malta Book Festival and go through to the international competition.
