SWDC: Xlendi Reef – Fully Booked

July 7, 2024 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm CEST

Weather permitting, for those of you who are interested, next Sunday Scuba World Divers shall be diving Xlendi Reef (beneath Xlendi Tower). Site is subject to change without notice if weather conditions are not ideal.
We shall be leaving from SOUTH QUAY CIRKEWWA at 8 o’ clock sharp.
This dive site is very picturesque and usually has excellent visibility. It is suitable for all levels of diver. In the early 1960s, an extensive archeological expedition took place in which a great number of Roman artefacts were recovered from the seabed. These artefacts are on display at the museum of archeology in Victoria. It was previously thought that these artefacts were aboard one vessel but subsequent studies have shown that there were many shipwrecks in the same area over a long period of time.
This dive is suitable for all levels of diver.
