Gozo salt pans project appeal sitting

In another twist to the long saga of attempts to get permits for digging up new Salt Pans in the North of Gozo, which last month was again flatly rejected by the Planning Authority for the second time, an appeal has been filed. Objections from divers stem both from the fact that it is new development in an unspoilt bit of coast as well as that it will block access to two dive sites.
