Lovinmalta reports that A dive off Malta’s southern coast quickly turned extra adventurous when two divers stumbled upon a number of anti-aircraft shells.
After a bit of an adventure with retrieving one of the shells, the dIvers contacted the Armed Forces of Malta who visited the site, and retrieved several other shells.

Divinginfo.mt recommends that any diver discovering such items, or suspected firearms / explosives etc. , should simply record the location, taking videos or photos if possible, but not touch or in any way linger around such items due to the potential dangers and possible investigations by authorities. Report immediately such findings to the Police on 119 who will contact and engage any further experts needed.
