A 30-year-old man from Fgura is in hospital suffering from grievous injuries after he encountered problems while on a diving job earlier today. He is not in a critical condition.
The police said in a statement they were informed at around 4.30 p.m. that the man, who had been diving in the Marsaxlokk area, needed assistance at around 11.30 a.m.
An inquiry is being held.
