Our involvement commenced in 1995 with the movie Cutthroat Island, followed with the major film featuring Bon Jovi & Gina Davis U571, which both took months of shooting in the Malta Film Studios.
Abigail Borg has been heading Divemed Underwater Film Unit since 2008. With years of experience under her belt as a dive supervisor, dive instructor, and more recently, 2nd unit director- she has led her dive team in several productions ranging from commercials, tv series, movies and blockbuster productions. Most of the shooting is done at the tank facilities in the Malta Film Studios, or out at sea featuring some of Malta’s beautiful underwater topography and shipwrecks. While others have taken us to film in other locations and sets around Europe.
