“Hello everyone,
Today we collected the buoys of P31, Hephaestus, Cominoland and Tug2.
Tomorrow we will start early, from 7.30 till around 8.30/9.00 with Karwela. We need to lift and move the sinker in the right place ready for next year and after that we will remove the buoy.
Please don’t dive if you see the vessel around. Just in case call me. After the Karwela we will move to IMPERIAL Eagle, Marsaskala and Faroud. Same as Karwela, we need first to re position the sinker for next year. Don’t dive when the vessel is around because it is a dangerous operation when we move the sinker and when we drop the chain.
It is welded to the buoy so we recover the buoy on the boat and we cut the chain. It will drop very fast and obviously we don’t want anyone under the vessel.
Thanks for understanding”

“To all divers in Malta, very important, please read it all.
As you know we have had problems with the buoys this year, both with repairs of the buoys and the installation.
Unfortunately, after an inspection on the buoys the supplier informed us that they are only able to withstand winds up to force 6 so due to the cost of replacing them MTA decided to remove them and replace in April next year.
In the next few days, operations will start on removing the buoys and we will also start to move the sinkers of the Karwela, Faroud, Imperial Eagle and Zonqor for next season.
Please note that if you see the sea vessel to stay away from the diving area.
Please let us know if you have any instructors to send with us in order to find the best position for the buoys on these wrecks. We are ready to pay but it is important that there will be people in the water alongside a commercial diver from the supplier.
From now onwards, we will not accept any more complaints so now is the time to help get it right for next season.
We need one diver, better two, not necessarily an instructor but someone experienced and with certification to go to 40m.
Give me a call (79001802) and we can arrange for time and logistics.”
